“so the time has finally come!
Im not sure if i should write a massive explanation since I havent really been selling a lot of decks to the states, but i guess a little one is needed.
Basically in the last few weeks ive not been having as much fun as i used to making decks, mainly since my homemade molds and methods are not really fitting todays ‘big business’ standards. Also, the harassment by kids has gotten to a point where i cant go on any website without getting a message or some window poppin up with ‘ i need a deck or i will die’ kinda things.
I make decks because its fun, not for the money. Since its not that fun anymore, there isnt really any point in making them. I started selling decks because people used them and kept telling me how good they were to ride, making videos and using them at contests. These days the Prete i sell is most likely to be on ebay than anywhere else, for 2ce the price i sold it. Im not a distributor for greedy kids who dont even bother to set up the decks anymore. I dont need that.
Also, with the newer more focused companies who devote their life to fingerboarding, i dont feel the need to provide a different option. Fingerboarding for me is a small hobby, but i have other, more important things to do with my life than sit in the basement, making decks for people who wont use them.
At this point i want to say massive thanks to my Team, Mitko, Paolo, Nico and Fabian, they supported me all the way through and they know what fingerboarding is all about these days! Thanks guys, you made the Prete experience for me so much better, and i really appreciate that.
Well, whiny bitch rant over, Ima sell most of my way oversized collection on ebay ( http://shop.ebay.de/peterringel/m.html?_nkw=&_armrs=1&_from=&_ipg=&_trksid=p3686) in the next few weeks, and get on with my life doing the things i love doing.
Im still fingerboarding, just not making them anymore, for those who think i quit completely. i didnt
Well, big thanks to the people who knew and respected what i did, you know who you are!
