Another nother nother nother nother cool thing I got since the Battle At The Harrics 2014 weekend. A new Northwoods deck:
And another one:
“The new GFX decks by Northwoods® are about as legit as you can get and printed just like full-sized skateboards. Extensive efforts went in to bringing you the sharpest and most vivid graphics application method possible. To top it off the graphics are virtually “never wear” because they are embedded inside a micro thin, rock-hard top layer that will stay smooth their entire life.
****These graphics do NOT grip or grab and are NOT photo paper or stickers.”
Thats true! The graphic on my last Northwoods deck was the same and it´s awesome. You maybe remember this board? Click! In comparison with my last Berlinwood board the graphic of the Northwoods deck lasts longer.
“The new JOYSTIC PRO is the latest and greatest to come out of our R&D. After working with the same mold for 3 years we made some improvements based upon experience, customer and team feedback. With the exclusive SWEETridge concave and POWERline core this board has the soul of a Northwoods with a smoother feel than the original. A mellowed concave and kick gives more control to the seasoned rider giving the overall apex a lower profile. Of course there is no sacrifice in our legendary pop so if you need to go big it’s no problem. It is a directional board that tapers towards the tail. We highly recommend this board to those seeking the best of the best.
Most models are available in both 101mm and 99mm!”
Trust me, you get used to the decks super quick. The shape is well done, round and up to date. Jared did a great job.
A special clue on this deck, it´s a Battle At The Harrics 2014 special issue:
There is a BATH logo on the top ply and the graphic itself changed a bit. The bear on the deck got a riffle, sunglasses and a hat and is based in Berlin. You won´t get these items on the normal Rodovsky promodel :-)
By the fucking way, you guys know Jared? Let me introduce Jared to you:
This is Jared. Jared is the head behind Northwoods. I never met such a thankful person in my life. He´s so cool! You should seriously support him and his brand. He´s doing a great job! Thank you Jared!
