Product Blog: Berlinwood – Camo Cruiser0

October 13, 2015 by MartinB. | 4:15 pm

Part 5 of 5. The last new Berlinwood shape I´ve received some days ago. So lets have a look at this skull camo cruiser/shortboard:

Berlinwood - Skull Camo

Shape:

Berlinwood - Skull Camo

The concave/shape is one of the well known Berlinwood shapes. It combines a straight short tail with a short nose and a clean cruiser shape. I´m not sure this shape/cut is going to be realeased, but it looks fun. The cut of the deck is well done = normal madness at Berlinwood:

Should we call this a cruiser?! Or a shortboard!? Bombing some bowls and cruising down the streets. That’s what it´s made for!

Creating the first small wooden fingerboards, Timo Lieben from Berlin did great pioneerwork in 2002. He has provided the young fingerboard scene, which had been used to plastic boards up to that time, with the first usable wooden fingerboards. Until now Berlinwood is steadily in progress with its developments. Several generations of fingerboarders from all over the world appreciate and love Berlinwood fingerboards.
Berlinwood fingerboards are made of five wooden plies. Apart from being manufactured by professionals the fingerboards are “100% handmade in Germany”.
For the best possible performance the nose and tail of Berlinwood fingerboards have different lengths and angles like professional skateboards.

Btw are you interested in a huge part of the fingerboard history? Mastermind Timo Lieben was the first to manufacture professional wooden fingerboards the way skateboards are made. The Berlinwood website is online with a shit load of pictures and many facts behind Berlinwood. Make sure to check that out! CLICK CLICK CLICK!

One more time we got something different from Berlinwood. I really appreciate Timo still doing new things to create the perfect fingerboard for everyone out there. This board looks really fun and you oldschool fans out there should be hot on this one. If you think you don´t need a oldschool or cruiser board you might be right, but set one up and start fingerboard transitions. It´s so much fun you won´t believe! So get out your high socks and some Vans and start shredding!

As I told you allready yesterday and the day before, I´m a lucky mofo I got this. I´m really sorry to tell you, you can´t buy this oldschool variation at the moment. I really don´t know when/if they will be ever in stock. So stay tuned and buy a normal Berlinwood. You can get every graphic in every shape and size = TIGHT! So hop over to the Blackriver-Ramps webshop NOW: Click!

THX a lot for all the support Timo :-) Great work, again!
