Some weeks ago I´ve received a letter that surprised me. But there was a message that made me smile:
As you can see, Jared sent me the latest creation from Northwoods – the Indiloo GFX HD! So I took this deck with me to Fuerteventura (Spain) to find a cool spot to take the pictures on. Check that beast out:
This deck got the sweetridge concave. The one of a kind, ergonomic concave hugs your fingers while offering sweet spots throughout the length of the board to encourage consistent setup and performance. This is not my first Northwoods deck and you get used to this shape pretty quick. The POWERLINE core is twice as dense and rigid as our maple layers providing strength, shape retention and pop.
The top ply of this deck:
is as colorful as the bottom ply. Jared called this the cupcake top ply, because it´s colorful with sprinkles.
And one more:
The new GFX HD decks are real wear tech paired with Northwoods special rare white hand dyed base layer. These decks are 30% lighter and thinner without sacrificing strength. So as you can see Jared put a lot new tech-shizzle in his latest creation. It´s great to see new things and all the evolution in fingerboarding. If you don´t like this color, choose another one. Jared offers more graphic decks right over here: Click! The next stock will be up soon!
Northwoods is a fingerboarder owned company. Like the most other companies, Northwoods started with one person, in a small room designing and creating fingerboard gear. Northwoods now extends out past a loving wife, good friends, co-workers all the way to the edges of earth through team members and riders who support this brand throughout the world. As Jared told me some years ago in Berlin Northwoods is a proof that following your heart in the face of fear and doubt will get you through the thickest of forests.
Thx a lot brother! I really hope to see you again!
