Viva Las Vegas part three! Welcome to the third fingerboard deck from Las Vegas, Nevade right here at fingerboardTV. The “double B” splitply deck mady by Variant Decks:

This deck got a really nice and well done shape. The deck seems to be super thin and this underscores the shape pretty well. The deck is a bit smaller than the V split and got a width of 32mm. I just called it “double B” because of the black and brwon wood. You got it right, it´s a splitply deck. This really basic splitply looks really good because of the nice sorts of wood Mike used for it. Overall This deck is well done. Mike from Variant decks improves his deckmaking skills more and more. The shape is fine, the holes are drilled well but the the splits could be a bit better. Don´t get me wrong, its really well done, but the level on fingerboard decks is that high in these days so I thought I have to mention this.
Before Mike – the owner of Variant Decks – contacted me on instagram, I didn´t know about Variant decks. For me there was no fingerboarding brand connected to Las Vegas, so it´s great to see there are fingerboarders in this city of sin. Get in contact with him on instagram:
