When you think about Russia you think about the really cold winter, really good Vodka, beautiful girls and the 2018 FIFA World Cup.
BUT there is fingerboarding in Russia too and it´s getting bigger and bigger. Or it just seems to be like this!? You see a lot of new videos on YouTube of people you haven´t seen before, so hopefully there is a growing scene in Russia. Every time I check out the ProFB shop website I see a lot of great products made by brands from Russia. Too bad I don´t understand the language on many russian fingerboard websites.
So today we will take a look on a fingerboard deck from Russia. It´s the psycho kitty deck made by Darkwood decks:

Darkwood decks are a limited edition fingerboard company. What does that mean? Well, is like every deck is a one of a kind deck. So you as a customer must be quick to get the deck you want once the stock is available. Many companies did it that way in the past and still do it like this.
The graphic is a combination of a pink full dip deck with a little psycho kitty and logo print and some handpainted parts on nose and tail. The shape is well defined, mellow medium and the width is a 34mm+. That means this deck is wide as fuck.
It´s hard to tell something about the craftsmanship, because this is a full dip deck. The holes are perfect and clean so no worries about this. The lacquer is soft without any bubbles or something and the shape is clean and symmetric. So I guess there are no bad surprises under the dip. This deck includes some fingerboard tuning for your trucks, griptape and some riptape.
