“In the beginning, before Joycult fully had a name, it took years of research, development , sleepless nights, friends thinking youre going crazy, concentrated passion, to not only get this off the ground, but even just to obtain a set of wings big enough to do so. From the initial thought right up to opening day was an entire period of my life… A long time. I hope one day in the appropriate setting, I can tell you all the full story. It would answer a lot of the hows, whats, and why’s. Help you understand why these things take the amounts of time that they do. But I would like to speak right now about the who… You. The fingerboarders. A little while back, I created a little survey to get some insight from you. Simple stuff about the new wheels (shapes, colours, shop format etc), but there was a comment section as well where you could leave your thoughts/ suggestions as well and man… …To this day…. speechless…. Joycult supporters are superlative… and even that may be an understatement … But until they can invent a word to correctly describe you all. I read them everyday. They are literally the biggest inspiration I use in my life since then. And on 02/25/18 I have a little love letter I would like to give to you as well😌 MUCH love to you all, from depths indescribable. And particularly, in this moment to @big.ass.drop.lord . YOU good sir are the inspiration for so many great things in fingerboarding, one of many: The Super Tanner XL”
