Product Blog: Drissner Decks – Logo Deck

Today we will take a look at one more fingerboard deck made by Drissner Decks. Tim, the owner of this brand, is in the german fingerboard scene since forever. Forever means 2006. So yes, it´s some kind like forever. He started making decks in 2008 with some shorter and longer breaks since then. Tim is located in a city called Gießen. Gießen is well known for . . . öhm . . . nothing :-D Jap, just checked it on Google and it´s well know for nothing. Today we will hopefully change that a little bit in the heads of the fingerboard community.
The featured deck is some kind of a (mini) logo deck. Solid wooden boottom ply with a painted Drissner logo. The deck was packed in a small little envelope made from paper. No more words needed, check it out:
Shape:
This shape is the classic one. Tim offers a nold mold and a new mold at the moment. It´s clean, the kicks are nice and well defined and it´s overall crispy. The deck is 34mm wide.

I really like the solid color of the bottom ply. It´s like the classic color of the classic fingerboard deck. The logo looks basic, tight and clean and fits very well to the color of the bottom ply. A basic deck with some basic graphic. Just a classic.
The holes look clean and straight. The countersinks too. Tim is an honest guy and told me, that he had some trougles wih the holes in the past. Since he´s up with the second mold, everything will be done with digital precision. So Tim steps up the fingerboard game and is doing better and better and better fingerboards.
On the top ply you will find the Drissner logo painted in black. Well matching to the bottom ply.
How to order? If you don´t know it the Drissner Instagram site up to now: @drissnerdecks_fb just follow it. Tim told me I don´t need to hurry with posting these decks (a second product blog will follow soon). Why not to hurry? Well, there is not a classic webshop and the decks are not “always in stock”. Tim is working with smaller stocks and you could order them on Instagram and buy them in the ASI Berlin Store.
