Breakfast is probably the most important meal of the day. Many people think like this and it in my opinion it´s important to eat early every day, but is breakfast reallythe most important meal?! Everybody will probably have own preferences about the most important meal and about what to eat for breakfast. Breakfast is important, yes, but for me it´s not the most important meal.
Why do I talk about breakfast?! Why do I talk about food?! Well, this poduct blog is about toast in some kind. About some fast toast´s. We all know toast. Toast is a form of bread that has been browned by exposure to radiant heat. In a toaster for example.
Fast Toast´s here we go. Today we won´t look at toasted bread, we will look at toasted wood. It´s the “Fast Toast´s” deck made by Nizeplies Decks. Nizeplies is a “new” company from south Germany owned by Joni. Let´s have a look at the deck:
Shape:
This shape is called the NP2. Nizeplies offers more than one shape. The shape is a all over a low shape. Nose and tail are “straight cut”. This is called “boxy” at Nizeplies. The deck is about 34mm wide.
Plies:
This deck is a 6 ply deck. In the past we have seen a lot of fingerboard companies offering up to 9 ply decks. The most of these decks were special limited edition decks. 6 plies are more than standard. Joni told me that the next generation of Nizeplies decks will be back to 5 plies and a new shape will be available as well.

Nizeplies Decks is a fingerboard company based somewhere in Baden Württemberg in south Germany. This company is “new” to the scene and owned by Joni.
All I can say about the craftmansship of this deck: GOOD JOB! The sanding is nice, the graphic job is basic hipster and cool, the countersinks are good, the shape of the deck is symmetrical and the wood has some solid clean color.
To create such a deck the wood gets the pressure it need in a metal mold. The shape ist symmetrical, clean and low. I really like that boxy thing with the straight nose and tail. It perfroms different to normal posicle decks. This is nothing new, but the implementation on this deck is perfect. The deck is about 34mm wide. All I can say: GOOD JOB!
The artwork is hipster basic and cool. The toast´s perform well on this deck and if you check out the @nizeplies.ltd instagram page you will se a lot more creative stuff. Joni dows not only do decks ;-) he has done a creative plaza as well.
