Product Blog: Harz4 – Regelsatz

January 14, 2021 by MartinB. | 10:47 am

Today we will take a look at some of the younger fingerboard brands in the German fingerboard scene: Harz4. Harz4 is in the scene for a while now, but it´s still a young company.

The head behind the company is Hennemann. Christian is in the scene since forever. Probably the most German fingerboarders know him for ages. I know him for more than 10 years. So let´s say aaaaages. Maybe you follow him on Instagram? If not check out his personal account: @chrizz.ly

Since Christian moved to Berlin, I really don´t know when, he is often in the Instagram videos of the ASI Berlin Shop. Why? First of all, he is a great fingerboarder and he supports this place.

If a great fingerboarder, who is in the scene for ages, with huge skills starts a company, he has a lot of know-how about other brands, he tried almost every fingerboarding product and he wants to do something else, to make his fingerboard even better. Not only for him. He try’s to close the gap between other companies with something new. Here we are: Harz4.

Harz IV - Regelsatz

And that´s maybe the background of this brand. Hennemann was on a mission to create a great fingerboard wheel for himself. The product is called „Regelsatz“. Today we will take a look at a set of white Harz4 Regelsatz wheels:

Harz IV - Regelsatz

Shape:

Harz IV - Regelsatz

The shape is the Regelsatz is in between a classic streetshape and a 90th wheel. The size of the wheels is not super small, but hot as big as a classic streetwheel. The width of the Regelsatz is more like a classic steetshape. So the wheels are shaped like streetwheels but not as small as we did it in the nineties. The wheels are backless and work together with all the pro fingerboard trucks.

Personally I like the look of streetshapes the most. 90th wheels perform great but I like the look of bigger wheels just more. This mix fits perfect in this space between the 90th and everything else. I like it and this is why I use them.

I received these wheels a couple of months ago. The timing was perfect. I just wanted to try something new and a fully new setup was “incoming“ because of one special fingerboard deck.

I am using these wheels for a couple of months now. Mounted to my YTrucks, the wheels are perfect round without wobbling. On YTrucks you could use the FIngerboardstore.de spacer but you do not need to. These wheels are some kind of backless, so they work without a spacer.

Fit: Perfect – Check!

The color of these wheels is solid white. The material of the wheels is super clean. White and clean like super bleached teeths. Many other brands other white wheels but most of are semi transparent if they are not made from polyurethane.

Color: Perfect – Check!

As I already said, I´ve received these wheels a couple of months ago. So I really tried them. And tried them. And tried them. And you know what? I really like them.

The material of the wheels is perfect. It is hard but surprisingly grippy with a great sound. The wheels are based on 3D printing and poured with polyurethane resin. TKY said these wheels feel like BONES STF skateboard wheels.

The bearings are after months of use still where they belong to. I’m using my fingerboard indoors and outdoors in all conditions. In the past some wheels can’t handle that, but the Regelsatz works perfect. The wheels are still part of my setup and I will probably ride them till they die.
