Some weeks ago I´ve received letter from Australia. I was really surprised, because I wasn’t in contact with somebody from Australia at that point. The package contains two sets of solid fingerboard boardrails from Dislocation and a short little letter.
TKY is a teamrider of dislocation and asked him to send me some boardrails. Such a big surprise for me! These boardrails look like the perfect add on for my new Grand Fingers cruiser deck. Personally I prefer boardrails on oldschool decks. It´s modern to use them on normal decks in these days, but that’s not my thing.

These rails are hand poored and casted in Australia. Only made the highest quality of material! These board rails are strong and durable, they have angled edges to stop getting caught on grinds. Featuring contersunk holes and extra small screws to ensure no bolt heads are exposed on any point of the rail to give the rider the perfect shred.
Each set contains 2 boardrails, 8 screws and stickers. You can order them directly at the Dislocation website, at fingerboardstore.de or at blackriver-ramps.com. Get yourself something cool for your fingerboard.

Product Blog: Grand Fingers – G-Cruiser Fish-shape

Some more days ago I´ve unboxed some Dislocation boardrails on the fingerboardTV insta livestream. In the livestream I´ve told the audience, that I prefere boardrails on cruiser decks more. Even if it´s hype and everything, I don´t like them on “normal” fingerboards. Well, long story short, after the livestream I´ve received a message from Grand Fingers . . .
So this is the second time in the history of fingerboardTV that I´ve received a package from Poland. In 2017 again, so maybe 2017 is going to be big in Poland? Hopefully the scene is growing. This time it´s a package from Grand Fingers.
If you don´t know Poland is a European country. There is a Polish/German boarder pretty close to Berlin. You guys outside Europe maybe know the biggest city of the country: Warschau. Or even if you´ve never heard about Poland as a country, everybody knows the Warschauer Straße in Berlin?!
Today I got the very first part of a package from Grand Fingers for you. A really nice Cruiser deck in some really warm wood:

This is a special shaped cruiser deck. 32mm width in the concave section and a little bit wider tail for perfect control. Short nose is long just enough for comfortable high nollie tricks.

This is a really well done deck. As you can see on the pictures the shape is well defined without any edges and a really nice colored bottom ply. The grand graphic is clean and sharp lasered/branded on the bottom ply. The graphic is quiet basic so this makes the wood even more outstanding. So in the next step I will mount some trucks and boardrails on this deck ☺
The deck comes with three sheets of tape in a little paper box. The box isn´t spectacular at all but the wood is spectacular as fuck. And I really like the fact that you get 3 sheets of tape with a deck. That’s a nice service!
