Bye bye Blackriver-Store

I want to thank Blackriver for the (almost) 8 years of the Blackriver Store Berlin! We have created a place that attracts people magically, especially fingerboarders from all over the globe. Because of Blackriver-Ramps this place exists! It always was and will be dedicated to the fingerboard scene. May our doors always be open for you.

We all know that fingerboarding is slowly dying in some more parts of the world…
These words from TKY make me sad. When I think about the last 8 years I´ve traveled to this store every year. For the Monky Business Tour, Battle At The Harrics, Battle Of Berlin, christmas and birthday bashes, ASI Berlin Contests and just because of the store. I had such a good time at this place and such a lot good memories. Party and bullshit, weird store sessions and laughing till everything hurts. Most of the stories are x-rated for sure . . .
TKY and the store have been something like a lighthouse for sailors. Every fingerboarder who travels to Berlin for fingerboarding or just sightseeing visits this store. TKY did such a great job on this project and without him and his motivation a big part of fingerboarding would already have been dead.
I´m happy that TKY opens the ASI-Berlin FingerSkate Store in Berlin soon. I think this place will be such a lighthouse again and hopefully this will push the scene back into the right direction…

Product Blog: Planktoon Fingerboards – Goodies

A couple of days ago I´ve told you about the package from Planktoon. Today I will show you two new goodies from Planktoon.

To be honest, we´ve all seen these goodies at other companies before. I won´t complain about this because empirically this is “normal” in the fingerboard scene and in a lot other scenes. I even won´t complain about this because Planktoon is a fingerboard company which supports fingerboarding in Indonesia and even worldwide. All the big contest like Fast Fingers or BATH were supported by Planktoon and even small sessions or online contests.

These keychains are available in black and brown. The clip seems to be very solid and the rest of this keychain is made out of leather. It is suitable for hanging your fingerboard down your pants, key or whatever. You could buy this keachain right over here: Click!

This fingerboard bag has many uses. You can insert 2 fingerboards and your tools inside. It´s comfortable to use everywhere and pretty simple. This one i a well made one in solid black with a metal logo on one site and a strong clip. You could buy this bag directly over here: Click!
In my opinion both items help your fingerboard to survive the daily struggle on your adventures. A cheap solution to take your fingerboard with you.
