Product Blog: DJERSEY – D2 POP SHAPE Deck

At the ASI Berlin contest a few weeks ago I came in touch with some fingerboarding people from Russia I did not know before. We were talking about the scene in Russia and I told about my thoughts, that the scene in Russia is growing fast at the moment because there are new companies, events and you see a lot more output from russian riders on the internet.
I´ve received a letter from DJERSEY (DJRS) fingerboards from Moscow, Russia. The package includes everything you need for a great fingerboard. Today we will have a look at the third item: a handpainted DJRS deck:

This shape is called D2 pop shape. Is this the Russian standard shape? Well, I would say no. Every deck from Russia I had before had a really low to medium shape. This one is the first deck with some medium to high concave.

After a long time and some changes on the previous version of DJRS decks, these boards became shorter (94mm), wider (up to 34mm) and a bit heavier. The heavier version makes the pop of this deck even more controllable. The graphic is handpainted. That means the graphics of this series are applied manually with a brush. The craftsmanship of this deck is good and fits into today’s standard. The colors of the artwork are solid and the graphic really looks like a painting.
This deck is a deck of a very limited series. There are only six decks available with different bottom plies. You need to be fast to get one! These are out now. The only way to order is a DM on Instagram at the moment. I really don´t know if a webshop is planed but a short DM is a fast way to order something cool for your fingerboard.
