Product Blog: Yellowood – Picnic Table

February 27, 2019 by MartinB. | 10:12 am

Yellowood is a well known fingerboard brand from Portugal. Philippe and his company is not only known for his decks or the YStore, this brand is known for great obstacles and new product developement.

Today we will take a look at something for the real metal heads of the scene. A picnic table is a classic obstacle in the skateboard scene and in the fingerboard scene as well. Every fingerboarder has a picnic table at the house just because we love the realistic look.

Philippe released an update on the normal picnic tables. These are mostly made from wood, he took metal for the ultimate grind feeling. So check out some metal for your fingers:

Yellowood - Picnic Table

Complex and hard to make metal Picnic table. A realistic looking obstacle made to last years. All in metal it is solid and long perfect to land tricks, a beauty for any park. The metal is painted with a super nice brown color so you get some wooden look on the metal. The craftmanship and the paintjob on this one is just perfect. Just check out the pictures.

All I can say, I really like the feeling of grinds on this one. It feels so much better than a wooden table. Just try it! Get your personal Deawon Song out and start doing crazy combos!

OK, so this is not made from wood so this might be a bit more expensive, right? Well, yes it is. This picnic table is about 50 Euro. A normal wooden table in this size from other companies is about 20 Euros. The metal version seems to be expensive but if you compare both prices this one is more than OK!

You can get such a dope table right over at the Yellowood webshop: Click!

Why did this product blog took so long? Well, my time is limited. Since I´m a father it´s even more limited. It´s hard to do all the work. I´m glad you company owners have the pantience :-)

THX a lot to Portugal! Have a sunny day my friend!

Cartwheels – Next Stock 28.02.2019

February 24, 2019 by MartinB. | 8:07 am

Bildschirmfoto 2019-02-24 um 07.05.36

I’d like to think that this is more or less the biggest progression in Cartwheels history.

After months of extremely hard work I’ve managed to produce not 1, but 2 brand new wheel shapes and sizes. In the middle of the photo we have the classic Cartwheels single bearing wheel. But the new shapes are on the left and right. To the left we have the mini core and to the right the mega core. A choice for everyone!

The release is on the 28th of February and this first stock WILL be limited. As you all know, quality is always paramount for me and these are no different. A huge thanks to everyone who’s purchased and help me develop these wheels. I’m incredibly proud of what you’re looking at right now.
