Viva Las Vegas my friends! What happens in Vegas stays in Vegas . . Well, not this time! Lets say welcome to the very first fingerboard deck from Las Vegas, Nevade right here at fingerboardTV. The Las Vegas Strip deck mady by Variant Decks:

This shape is an up to date medium shape with a width of 33mm.

This deck got a really nice and well done shape. Everything is medium and thats a fact I really like. YOu got some dark brownTblack bottom ply. This wood looks so high class and shiny. The graphic part is some kind of splitply. There is a square in the bottom ply and the graphic is in this square. It´s not printed on the bottom ply. Just check out he images and you will see what I´m talking about. The Las Vegas strip image seems to be a paper graphic. I haven´t seen this sort of combination at fingerboardTV up to now. So thats a + and this has a lot of potential. I´m just thinking about more split graphics. Just make an deck with more gaps in the bottom ply and fill these gaps with parts of the graphic you like. In combination with some awesome wood this could be the next step!
Overall This deck is well done. The shape is fine, the holes are drilled well but the square part on the bottom ply could be a bit better. Don´t get me wrong, its really well done, but the level on fingerboard decks is that high in these days so I thought I have to mention this.
Before Mike – the owner of Variant Decks – contacted me on instagram, I didn´t know about Variant decks. For me there was no fingerboarding brand connected to Las Vegas, so it´s great to see there are fingerboarders in this city of sin. Get in contact with him on instagram:
