Did you guys know that the Philippines includes round about 7000 islands? To be correct, there are 7107 islands! Thats a huge amount of islands. The capital of this wonderful country with a huge load of wonderful and exotic girls is Manila.
Today we will take a look at deck number three out the latest letter of the Philippines. As I told you last week, I´ve received a big package from the Philippines some weeks ago.
The package was sent by Gerorge Casem, who is the owner of McKenzie Fingerboards. This brand exists since 2012 as you can see on the “eyes” of this graphic. I´m really glad, that George sent me 5 (FIVE) decks!! This is the third one.
Well, now let´s have a look at a nice graphic fingerboard deck:
Shape:
The shape of this deck is the GU Shape in 34mm. The GU shape is a well-defined medium kick and medium concave fingerboard shape.
You wanna see something really crazy on this one? Rasta plies! Well, we all know rasta plies, but not as a crazy splitply:
Two plies of this deck are split plies. This is the reason why you get this crazy look checking this deck from the side. This looks so good and colorful, I really like it. It´s colorful like all the islands of the Philippines.

This deck is a graphic deck. You got the deep black bottom with just a few graphic parts and this unbelievable good job on the split plies. I´m not sure but I think this is a real wear graphic printed directly on the wood. It´s not that classic foil graphic and not a woodprint. The graphic is done perfect on the fingerboard deck. This deck and all the plies are just super clean as the first two exotic decks.
The shape of the deck is the GU Shape in 34mm. The GU shape is a well-defined medium kick and medium concave fingerboard shape. This shape is 100% up to date and fits perfect into these days standard. And these plies are soooo lovely!
This deck is just as perfect clean as the two blank decks before. The edges are perfect round and the holes are straight and just perfect. This is just a perfect graphic fingerboard deck. So basic, so black, so good. I mean, just look at the pictures. This is a super high quality fingerboard.
Every deck comes in a basic package with some sticker and a sheet of foam. This sheet of foam is without tape on the back, so it´s not a sheet of riptape. It´s probably in the package to keep the deck safe while shipping!? I don´t know. Just get some tape and use this foam as nonslider for example.
Goerge offers with McKenzie really affordable and really good fingerboard decks. A blank fingerboard deck is about 20$, simple split ply decks cost something around 25$ and the graphic decks cost 25$ too. 20/25$ might be a lot of money in the Philippines for sure, but look at the price tag of many other brands, this is really affordable.
