Cheesus! I´ve posted the first Musta Cheese product blog last week and the reaction on Instagram was just fantastic. Thats the way to go, community!
In Europe there are only a few fingerboard brands left. Even Italy had a strong scene back in the days and I think it´s quiet around Italy in these days. So I´m really glad to feature a really cool european brand from Italy: Musta Cheese Fingerboards! Giacomo founded his brand in 2017, so Musta Cheese is some kind of new to the scene, but the growth of the brand is extraordinary. So Giacomo is not only doing normal fingerboards, he´s doing old school decks as well. So lets have a look at some super nice italien fingerboard deck, again:

This battleship is about35mm wide. Thats massive. The nose is smaller and you have a square tail. Everything feels like back in the days.

The wood on this deck is a nice and solid green color. It looks a little bit vintage and is shiny as fuck. The texture is nice and simple, good job! This wood is like a salmon in the sea . . .
The deck is made from 5 plies of canadian maple, soaked in aniline, the exact same procedure applied to real skateboards. Layers are glued together with polyurethanic glue and cold pressed to improve performances and wood resistance. The shape of this deck is old school and perfect round and the concave is just clean. There is a guy making decks with passion. Without passion you won´t get such a super good product. This Musta Cheese fingerboard deck is about 35mm. The craftmanship is perfect. Besides the round and perfect shape, the countersinks of this deck are perfect and you get some sort of Musta Cheese tag on top ply.
The package is the classic fingerboard package. It´s the little zip back with printed cardboard. You get a sheet of tape with every deck and some stickers. Just a fingerboard basic but the cardboard has a nice all over print if you care about the package. On the old school decks you will get a keychain as well, I think. This package included one, so I think it´s some kind of an old school bonus.
