Today we will take a look at the second deck from our friendly neighbour from Las Vegas, Mike. Mike is the owner of Varaint Decks and he sents me a letter with three wonderful decks, AGAIN! Today we will take a look at a wonderful and colorful two tone splitply deck, check this out:

This shape is an up to date medium shape with a width of really wide 34mm + I really like it and you guys will like it too.

As I told you, this is the third letter from Las Vegas and it´s like another huge step in the evolution of Variant Decks. It seems like Mike and his brand are growing up in deckmaking and the progress is superb. The last batch of decks was allready super good and this one is even better. Maybe this is one, not the only one, why Variant Decks get more and more HYPE on Instagram.
Variant Decks have a really nice and well done shape. Everything is medium and thats a fact I really like. On this one we have a super colorful and shiny but still basic two tone splitply work. Besides a lot of different graphic decks, Mike does a lot handpainted decks and splitplys too. The shape is fine, the holes are drilled well and the colors are strong and perfect. You won´t see an unperfected edge on these splitted plies. This is not my first Variant fingerboard deck and you could really see how much better the decks are getting with every month Mike is in the game. Such a great progression on your decks, Mike!
Before Mike contacted me the first time on instagram, something like years ago, I didn´t know about Variant decks and now this is the one more time a Variant deck is featured on fingerboardTV. For me there was no fingerboarding brand connected to Las Vegas, so it´s great to see there are fingerboarders in this city of sin and the scene is progressing in the desert.
