Product Blog: Blackriver-Ramps – John Cowart 2 Ramp

November 13, 2020 by MartinB. | 2:42 pm

Another Blackriver-Ramps US teamrider got his second generation ramp now. John Cowart is a well known fingerboarder for several years now. He´s well know even outside the US. I never met him in person but I´m watching his videos for ages so consider me as a fan. John is the head behind Cowply Fingerboards. He’s been making decks and ramps for years and really knows what he’s doing. Each deck features a graphic made by him. Handmade in the USA! This is fingerboard dedication.

Enough about John, this is the John Cowart T W O signature ramp:

Shape:

length: 14.6” width: 7.9” height: 5.1” –> this is a large ramp! Enough space for you and your fingerboard!

And one more:

Blackriver-Ramps - John Cowart Ramp 2

The John Cowart ONE ramp combined a spine with a curb. On the first edition you neede your transition skills more. The second edition totally changed that. The different look comes with the kicker to ledge/manual pad combo. This one is fully focused on street skating and should be the dream of every tech wizard. And I don´t know hwy, but this ramp reminds me to Street League.

If you compare both Cowart ramps you don´t get a redesign, you get something different. The bank is long and the ledge/manual curb has the right steepness. You got metal edges on both sides. If you order this thing really quick at Blackriver, you can be one of the first persons with footage on this ramp on Instagram ;-) Up to now there is only John shredding the ramp with his clip:

Overall this is a solid new ramp. You could easy combine it with a lot other ramps from Blackriver and built creative new spots at home. I think Johns clip says enough about the creativity!

The ramp is available now. Hop over to the Blackriver-Ramps webshop: Click!

Thanks again Oliver and the others at Blackriver-Ramps for the latest package. More product blogs are coming soon.
