Berlinwood - Winkler Graphic Oldschool Deck

So this is my second setup/oldschool cruiser deck NOW. I really liked this graphic for ages and I think it´s the perfect choice for an oldschool fingerboard. Winkler did so much for fingerboarding in the past and created his own decks more than a decade ago. And with this graphic every oldschool board gets even more credibility!

Creating the first small wooden fingerboards, Timo Lieben from Berlin did great pioneerwork in 2002. He has provided the young fingerboard scene, which had been used to plastic boards up to that time, with the first usable wooden fingerboards.
Until now Berlinwood is steadily in progress with its developments. Several generations of fingerboarders from all over the world appreciate and love Berlinwood fingerboards.

Berlinwood fingerboards are made of five wooden plies. Apart from being manufactured by professionals the fingerboards are “100% handmade in Germany“.

For the best possible performance the nose and tail of Berlinwood fingerboards have different lengths and angles like professional skateboards.

Btw are you interested in a huge part of the fingerboard history? Mastermind Timo Lieben was the first to manufacture professional wooden fingerboards the way skateboards are made. The Berlinwood website is online with a shit load of pictures and many facts behind Berlinwood. Make sure to check that out! CLICK CLICK CLICK!

I´m really sorry to tell you, you cant buy this oldschool variation at the moment. I really don´t know when/if they will be in stock. So stay tuned and buy a normal Berlinwood. YOu can get every graphic in every shape and size = TIGHT! So hop over to the Blackriver-Ramps webshop NOW: Click!

THX a lot for all the support Timo :-)

333 . . . 333 . . . 333+333 = 666!? The number of the beast? Is this a fortune? Halloween? Beaver fever? Storms all over Europe?

Product Blog: Berlinwood – Bowl Shape1

September 18, 2012 by MartinB. | 5:30 pm

What should I say??? BOWLSHAPE!

Shape:

Additional:

“The new Berlinwood Decks are convincing with their classic bowl shape and make your tricks looking better especially in bowls and other transitions. The craftmanship however is on the same quality level as is usual.
Why a different shape? A broader selection complies the increasing sophistication of different fingerboard styles. With different shapes to choose from you can pick a board fitting your individual needs. Width: 33,5mm”

As you suppose, it´s a genuine Berlinwood with the new “Bowlshape”. I really like cruiser boards and stuff like this, so this Berlinwood fits perfect into my flashbone. There is only one rub on my bowl setup: small trucks & hard wheels. You should def use wide trucks and softer wheels —> need to pimp that bitch really soon.

Grab yours over here: Click!

Ahhh and don´t forget to put on your high Vans socks before dropping in….
