Hello Lauren! Tell us about who you are, where you from and whats your daily business.

Hey! I’m Lauren, and I live in California. I’m a high school student as of right now.

How do you get in touch with fingerboarding?

Well, I get in touch with fingerboarding through creativity. I don’t like doing the average “flip in flip out” stuff–I want to do something different–more like, grabs/plants/tech stuff. I also get in touch with fingerboarding by making videos, where I make creative scenes, etc.

Whats your current setup?

My current setups are a Redemption MMC deck metal core, NC V6’s, and NC Foamy Greatness.

What is your favorite trick?

Hmmmm. That’s a tough question, cause I like doing all sorts of stuff. I’d have to say that my fave trick is a No Comply front shuv :)

Do you have any favorite rider or a video that influenced you?

I’m definitely inspired by Taylor Rosenbauer, Harry Schon, Martin Winkler, and ironically, you (Martin Beckmann) lol. Their styles are so flowy and unique, how could I NOT get inspiration from them?

Which fingerboard experience you liked the most (contest/jam/session)?

I’d have to say that my favorite fingerboard experience was when I went to the NoComply PoP Factory opening in Indiana. That was a major experience because I met lots of people that I knew on the internet, in person. It was also memorable because the PoP Factory is the first actual fingerboard store to open up in the USA.

And finally do you want to thank someone?

Thank you to EVERYONE who’s supported me and helped me in any way. On the internet/in real life, doesn’t matter. If you’ve helped me in any way, I want to say, thank you.
