Product Blog: Planktoon – Hawk Zipper0

May 24, 2015 by MartinB. | 7:47 am

Some more weeks ago I received a package from Indonesia. The package came straight out the Planktoon headquarter. The first part of the package was the Planktoon snake deck (CLICK!) and this is the second one: the brand new Planktoon “Hawk” Zipper:

And one more:

Black and white coolness combined in a soft heavyweight zipper. The zipper got some logo frontprint, some bigger backprint, some logo patch and some logo stitching at the sleeve. It´s great to see that more and more fingerboard brands make really cool clothing and not only logo shirts. That’s the direction we need to push the whole fingerboarding thing forward. And clothing means fun!

Get this zipper over at Planktoon: CLICK! Just browse through the webshop, you won´t regret. International fingerboard support at a really high level! Giv´em a like on facebook: CLICK!

THX a lot!

Product Blog: Fingerplant – Shrooms0

May 23, 2015 by MartinB. | 9:30 am

Some weeks ago some random pictures came up on instagram and this month the big announcement followed: Fingerplant is back! So check out the shroom graphic deck of the brand new Fingerplant lineup:

And another one:

– 5 plies of Italian maple veneers
– Direct printed graphic using screen print inks
– Handmade
– Original graphic design
– 32mm x 99mm
– Low-medium concave
– Medium kicks
– 6 years of deck-making experience (since 2009)
– By real fingerboarder – for real fingerboarder

* All decks come with a sheet of foam tape.

Great to see a Fingerplant deck after all these years. Dee made some great decks back in the days and the new decks are even better. I think it´s some kind of realwear graphic directly printed on the wood = rare! The shape is up to date and the whole deck is really well done. Btw the graphic is really colorfull! I think this could be the power of the shrooms???

Fingerplant is a well known fingerboard brand from Indonesia. Dee started Fingerplant in 2009 and did a lot for the scene. Not only in Indonesia! Some years ago I had the pleasure to meet Dee at the Battle At The Harrics in Berlin. All the Indonesian guys and girls got heavyweight jackets on and the european dudes only wear t-shirt :-D And we made an interview with Dee when he was in Berlin in 2012:

Maybe not everything in this interview is up to date, but check out how cool Dee is!

Fingerplant got a webshop CLICK! and a facebook page CLICK! Go and show some love, NOW! Some more graphics are available at the moment:

Thx for sending Dee! Hopefully we will meet again in reality sometime!? I still need to travel to your country!
