It´s sad but true, instagram is the place to be. In these days Instagram is the fingerboarding online hotspot. There is cliquism all over the place. Be there or be what? Be there or don´t care.
Well, this post is not about Instagram. But since the whole community is using Insta, there are a lot new companies coming out. There are companies for nearly everything and some of them get really quick a hype. One of these companies is Cherry Tape. You see cherries all over the place. Probably every second rider drops a picture of Cherry Tape.
Cherry Tape is a Grip and Rip company from the UK. Great to see there are more companies coming in the UK. Cherry tape offers a wide collection of fine griptape and riptape for your fingerboard.
Let´s have a look at the riptape at first:

The riptape from Cherry Tape is solid black tape, wide enough for all the oldschool boards out there. The tape is thicker than FBS or Brr. More like the LaCosca tape (if you remember). The tape isn´t that grippy as fbs or rip so the deck won´t be “glued” to your fingers while using this.

Fingerboards with griptape are so fucking hyped right now. Even more hyped than Insta. And if you combine your fingerboard with griptape and Instagram you will get a shit load of followers. OK, this is not guaranteed.
Cherry Tape is specialising in smooth, juicy and really colorful fingerboard griptape. You can easily create some great griptape artwork with all these colors. The “corn” is fine and all the colors are really bright. A big surprise for me: white griptape! I haven´t seen this for ages so great this is back in the game. Every package are three sheets of tape. The color is depending on what you´ve ordered. A lot of colors available.
