I always say “no cake, no glory”. I´m a huge fan of cake. Even after of while hard trips with you bike you need a huge amount of cake. Not only for your body, this ist good food for your soul. A cake often comes with a glaze on it and today we will take a look at a fingerboard wich was baked in Southern California by the Glaze Brand Co.. A good glaze is important as some shiny finish on a fingerboard, so check out the latest creation from the Glaze Brand Co.:
Shape:
The shape is called the mochi shape. This one is shaped as a poipsicle. The deck is 34mm wide and the concave and kicks are more low than medium.

Glaze Brand Co. was founded in 2014. So this company isn´t new to the scene at all. I´m glad to present them to the fingerboardTV audience.
The package: the package is the normale fingerboard packaging. It´s a zip bag with some cardboard on it. Basic and clean. You won´t need more. But whats inside the package? Well a Glaze Brand Co. deck comes with a sheet of honeytape and if you order it a the Glaze shop you will get a set of free honeydew bushings. Thats a nice extra.
The craftmanship: the holes are straight and clean and the countersinks have enough space to hide the screwheads. Perfect, celan, good job! All edges are perfect round and the shape is clean. Nothing warped or something like this.
The shape: the shape is all over low. I really like low shapes a lot! It´s cool to see that companies are offering some kind of low shape. In these days most of the companies only have the classic medium one like a BW or something. Don´t get me wrong, a normal medium shape is up to date and perfect, but sometimes you just want something different. So with this low shape the fingerboard feels like a real skateboard. the deck is shaped as a popsicle. You can get different shapes on the Glaze website.
The graphic: it´s colorfull, the print is high quality and it fits perfect on the deck. This graphic is some sort real wear foil. This is just todays standard and it´s perfect. I really like the heat/fire that starts at the nose baking this deck to a glazed beauty.
