Its wednesday. Christmas ist just around the corner. It´s just some special time of every year. So let´s travel to the Philippines again. Well, there is no plane waiting for you guys and girls, but another fingerboard deck made it all the way from the Philippines to Germany. A really special one. Welcome to the Philippines! George Casem, the owner of McKenzie Fingerboards, sents me a wonderful letter filled with happines (5 Decks!!!) from one of more than 7000 islands of the Philippines. George is in the fingerboard game since 2012 so he knows how to roll.

Today we will take a look at the third deck of this batch. This is just something really special and rare. It´s a wonderful McKenzie Fingerboard deck with some handpainted graphic made by Woodhue. This artwork is just unreal!!! Check it out:

Just check out the picture above. Now get the fact in your head, that this is a handpainted deck by Woodhue. Yes, fully painted by hand. I´m just hyped about the quality of this drawing. Isn´t it just amazing?!

Shape:

The shape of this deck is the GU Shape in a width of 34mm. The GU shape is a well-defined medium kick and medium concave fingerboard shape. The tail is shorter than the nose and the nose is about 1 degree higher than the tail. This is what we call up to date. A super solid shape, nice plies, you won´t need more. Wide and sexy! Wait, did I say “well-defined”? Well, fuck yes:

Let´s call this graphic IT eating a cupcake :-D. As I said, this graphic, I mean everything about this graphic is painted by hand. This graphic is super clean and colorful. The colors are super strong and the graphic itself is well done. I really can´t imagine how many hours you need for such a super special deck. This is just fantastic.

IN several product blogs I´ve mentioned that I´m a big fan of McKenzie. BUT I´m following Woodhue for a long time too. The paintings he does are just fantastic. I mean, check out his latest artworks on Instagram: @woodhue_artonlittleplanks

The guy behind Woodhue is called Allen Reynaldo. Allen, all I can say you did a fantastic job on this one! Guys and girls, really, follow @woodhue_artonlittleplanks on Instagram!

The deck itself and all the plies are just super clean, I mean, look at the pictures. Solid McKenzie work as always. The color of the graphic are just super strong and fantastic! The edges are perfect round and the holes are straight and just perfect. This is a super high quality fingerboard. The McKenzie decks from last year have been made in a super high quality but this deck is another step in the evolution of McKenzie. You can really see how much love was given to this deck. Great craftmansship!

The shape of this deck is the GU Shape in a width of 34mm. The GU shape is a well-defined medium kick and medium concave fingerboard shape. The tail is shorter than the nose and the nose is about 1 degree higher than the tail. This shape is 100% up to date and fits perfect into these days standard. The plies are lovely, clean and basic too.

Every deck comes in a basic package with some sticker and a sheet of colored foam. This sheet of colored foam is without tape on the back, so it´s not a sheet of riptape. It´s probably in the package to keep the deck safe while shipping. Just get some tape and use this foam as nonslider for example. Goerge offers with McKenzie really affordable and really good fingerboard decks. The normal real wear graphic decks cost about 30 $. You won´t regret buying a deck from George! Check out all the decks over here: Click! george just released some Horror series. Check them out.

These sort of decks aren´t available on the website. Every deck is a one of a kind deck. Just because these decks are so super special and rare, you should contact George or Allen directly on Instagram. And even if you don´t want to buy a deck, just leave some love over at @woodhue_artonlittleplanks and @mckenziefb ! These guys deserve it!

THX a lot for this huge package George again. Allen, thx for that painting. I really appreciate the love you give to fingerboarding. The next product blog will be up really soon.
