Big shout to all who’ve helped contribute to Cartwheels over the last few months. Its been a long and heavy uphill battle but I’m working to increase my productivity in all areas and produce the best wheels that I possibly can.
I’m working hard to make sure that I can run the business, fully stocked with a full time mentality.
I’m not one for ‘special editions’ or ‘one offs’, my aim is to be able to have the wheels you want, whenever you want them, with a speedy and well priced (tracked) worldwide delivery service.

Product Blog: Kamelpro Fingerboards – IVYPATOSKY GRAPHIC

Welcome back to Canada! Welcome back at KamelPro Fingerboards.
KamelPro Fingerboards is a one person company located in Montréal, Québec. Québec is a small part in the east of Canada. The main language in this part is french. This brand offers handmade boards and obstacles.
Toady we´re not talking about a kamel, we talk about dogs. Dogs are the best friends of humans. And you know about this if you ever had this experience. Personally my family had a dog when I was 6 years old. We were growing up together and this furry friend died when I was 19. The lost of this animal was hard to me and my family. So I really understand why Phil dedicated a graphic to his best friends Ivy and Pato.
So let´s take a look at Phils latest creation:
Shape:
This deck is pressed in the brand well known “hump” shape. The board is about 34mm wide with high kicks, deep concave and a standard wheelbase. The deck is shaped as an oldschool deck. A nice and wide bowlcruiser.

Well, lets start with the craftsmanship on this deck. The shape is well pressed and clean. Each Deck is hydrolic-pressed individually in a metal mold, so the decks aren´t warped or something like this. The shape is more like a low concave with mediumto high kicks, a short wheelbase and the deck is about 34mm wide. This shape is called the “Hump” shape as you can see on the stamp on the top ply. This shape is is a classic one at Kamelpro and all the decks are available in the HUMP, MELUS or the AMBLE shape.
The edges of this deck are sanded correct. The kicks are clean and the middle plies are shiny. As you can see this is a graphic fingerboard deck. It´s some sort of heat transfer graphic. The graphic is clean and simple and the print is sharp. It´s called the “IVYPATOSKY “, named after Phils furry friends.
Everything at Kamelpro is handmade with the aim of offering something different in terms of design, as in realism of our boards and obstacles. The obstacles are displayed to pre-order. To armortize shipping cost, KamelPro prefers to find an agreement with each customers because in some areas the fees are super high. Note also that each obstacles may have imperfections because granite and marble are fragile materials.
