Berlinwood Fingerboards was founded by Timo in 2002 in a time when plastic was the most common fingerboard. Handcrafted 5 ply decks available to everybody distributed by the strongest influence to the scene… Blackriver-Ramps! I still remember ordering my first ever Berlinwood. It was around 2002/2003 and I´ve ordered a maple bottom Berlinwood directly from Timo. Since I started fingerboarding I got countless Berlinwood. Fresh wood, later on super fresh graphic decks. Timo did and does a great job. It´s hard to tell you everything Timo has done for fingerboarding. It´s not only having a brand, it´s about being a nice guy, pushing the scene forward and having goodtimes listening to Wu-Tang.
Timo does a lot of special decks for special events. I really like this fact. This is another good reason to go to fingerboard events as often as you can. But I´m sorry for all the people from the outside of Berlin who can´t afford a journey to ASI Berlin or the ASI Berlin Store. Let´s say this first: you won´t get a chance to buy this deck. I´m sorry! All the decks were given away by Timo. BUT you can buy some awesome Berlinwood graphic decks in every width and every shape you like. Just hop over to the Blackriver-Ramps webshop or go to the ASI Berlin Store.

Due to the different prefers of fingerboarders today, BerlinWood comes in 2 different concaves “classic” and “low”. Both variations are available in every width. Choose what you like when you buy your next Berlinwood at the Blackriver webshop.

At the moment it is just hot in Germany. I think this is the first real summer for years. Checking out that deck you can really feel the heat of this summer and the heat of the ASI Berlin No.10 contest. You missed this? Well check out my contest Video right over here:
Lets check out the deck? Well, it´s a Berlinwood. this means the highest standard in the fingerboard business. Everything is lasered into that jawbreaker full heat bottom ply. A Berlinwood is just precisely like a swiss clock. Apart from being manufactured by professionals the fingerboards are “100% handmade in Germany“. I don´t think I need to tell you something about the Berlinwood quality. Nearly every fingerboarder knows it. The decks got solid colors and are just highend fingerboard decks. You wont regret to buy a Berlinwood ever. I think 99% of all the fingerboarder knows about this.

“Hey guys!
Just thought I would share something with you all real quick…
One of my favourite things about Fingerboarding is growing the sport by showing people boards, tricks, culture. Tech Deck sell a huge amount of fingerboards in Australia yet there are very few people that know how to do tricks or know that there are so many other great companies and products out there. So I got in contact with the Marketing Manager of Tech Deck in Australia and asked if I could help them organise some events in shopping centres etc.
Well… They were more than willing to co-operate and had me send through some ideas and video clips from Youtube. The next morning I had a voicemail on my phone from Teck Deck asking If I was interested in a TV opportunity! I got back to them and TWO DAYS later I was on the “Kids WB” show in a segment for “Finding Australia’s Tech Deck Champion”. My role was to talk a little bit about Fingerboarding and then do some trick tutorials.
It was a great experience for me personally, I had a lot of fun. I am really hoping that it will help a few kids gain interest in the Sport/Hobby and enjoy it as much as we all do.
It airs over the next three weeks. So, for those of you in Australia check out Kids WB on the Channel 9 “Go” every Sunday morning starting at 7am!!!!!

Tech Deck fingerboards are now available @ real,- in Mönchengladbach and maybe in other citys too? I think so.
