“This is the latest project of Yfamily in 2012. Our dream of making wheels matching Ytrucks perfectly is finaly completed. It took us more than one year of research and development to reach the quality we wanted. Ywheels are 3D designed and produced by us with centralized dual bearings. They are injected in high quality and precision molds with a specific compound material made for us like no other in the market. The hardness and grip of our wheels was tunned in various types of surfaces to provide good performance, stability and control. They are finished with professional lathe for a smooth ride without wobbles. The bearings quality was not left behind and after several searches, we found the perfect durable ones for a smooth a ride. They will be presented in two colors for now: Dual T (Translucent color ) or Dual B ( Black color) The graphics prints will be available on limited editions using a especial method developed by Yellowood. We are very satisfied with the final result of this long process, the overall performance of our fingerboard enter a new level never before obtained.“

These Yellowood´s are just insane! I really like´em! Other wood colors would be pretty dope to, something like orange as second layer and black as bottom ply!? Good work!!!

Hello Thom! Tell us about who you are, where you from and whats your daily business.
– Hey [:)] I’m Thom McInally from Manchester, England. I’m currently studying Graphic Design at UCLan University!
How do you get in touch with fingerboarding?
– I’m a Global Moderator on FFI, so i certainly have to keep active, which is more enjoyable than not! FBTV and YouTube is however quickly turning into my go-to places for finding great fingerboard related media, it’s truly inspirational to find dedicated media sites like yours, keep it up!
Whats your current setup?
– My current setup is a Yellowood Z2 Loz, with X3 Ytrucks, Pink Team Graphic Oak Wheels and Riptape.
What is your favorite trick?
– Currently it’s a tweaked ollie, they feel so nice! My favourite tricks to do change frequently, but it’s usually simple stuff.
Do you have any favorite rider or a video that influenced you?

Which fingerboard experience you liked the most (contest/jam/session)?
– My favourite fingerboard experience were days after Fast Fingers in May 2011, staying at Am Steig and Wunsiedel are some of the most memorable experiences i’ve ever had, as Andre Coral described, “pure freedom”.
