January 22, 2021 by MartinB. | 10:34 am

You guys need some concrete for your park? Right? Ok, here we go.

Creating “new” obstacles is a hard job and when I´ve seen this one for the first time, I really wasn´t sure if I need one. I talk about the Blackriver Wallie Pylon. It´s one of the latest concrete ramps made by Blackriver-Ramps. Let´s check that thing out:

Blackriver-Ramps - Concrete Pylon

Shape:

Natas-Spins are back and in full effect. Like on a hydrant or a similar spots you could spin your fingerboard like Natas did it. Size: length: 3.94inch width: 2.95inch depth: 2.95inch

Make a pylon fingerboardable. Ok, you could do some flips over a normal pylon and you could decorate your fingerboard spot, but what about a fingerboardable interpretation of a pylon?

The new Blackriver-Ramps Wallie Pylon is a great addition to any fingerboard park, your windowsill or a real streeet spot. Brush up on your street skills and mix up your line with this wallie, a Natas-Spin or other technical stuff. You could use this item easily as a paperweight and spice up your desktop with it. This thing is heavy, so it will withstand all your crazy tricks and combos.

The pylons are available in different colors. Get what you like or whats fits to your fingerboard park. Real pylons are made in signal red, but since the real ones are not fingerboardable, this interpretation of Blackriver of a real pylon more fingerboardable is available in all these colors.

Red and yellow are available now. Only 14,95 Euro for a great add on for your park. As I allready said, at the beginning I wasn´t sure if I really need such a thing, now I love it! Get an overview here: Click!

THX a lot Blackriver for this great ramp! And hey, when will these new and mysterious miniramp will appear on your site?

Lets talk about the deck.

As I already mentioned, the shape is a low shape for all the low lovers out there. It´s super clean, well done and nothing is warped. Good work on the shape. So this shape is for all the low shape lovers out there. The deck is about 33mm wide and the concave is really flat. Nose and tail are flat to medium. The middle ply is a splitply. Just check out the sideview, well and clean splits coming together.

The logo on the deck is painted in white. It has some kind of little a squirt of blood effect, because there are red pigments in the logo. Just looks a bit like splatterd.

The holes are straight, clean and the countersinks work perfect together with all the screws. The overall sanding on the deck is perfect as well.

The bottom ply is really exotic. You can feel the structure of the wood. The color is solid and I really like it. If you don´t like it, just check out the Chenaiz Instagram site (@chenaiz.fingerskateboards), more other colors and crazy splitplies are available.

How to order? Since there is no webshop, just hop over to Instagram and order the deck you like right over there: @chenaiz.fingerskateboards The shipping to Germany worked well and you get a tracking number. In Covid days everything needs some more days, but the letter arrived fast and the deck was wrapped in thick bubblefoil.

Good job on this deck! I will follow you. Hopefully you will continue like this and get some more followers soon!

Product Blog: Joycult – Classic 3.0 ZM 70D

January 12, 2021 by MartinB. | 9:09 am

THE SAGA CONTINUES!

Joycult - Classic 3.0 ZM 70D

Today we will take a trip to Canada. So far away from Germany? Jap, a virtual travel. Hello Brantford!

And if you hear Brantford combined with the word fingerboarding you might know really quick, today we will look at something from Joycult. The last time I had some Joycults in my hand was in 2017. Back then it was a set of Skyrocks. Today we have 2020, so there is a shit load of time between the last Joycult product blog and the prodcut blog I did in the past couple of weeks. Matt took many steps of evolution with Joycult and today we will look at some classic creation: The Classic 3.0 70D ZM:

And one more:

Joycult - Classic 3.0 ZM 70D

So what to tell you about these wheels?

3.0 is the third and final rendition of the 2017 line. Revamped and cleaned up for 2020. The shapes are to spec, beefier lock system and as always our classic F3 Formula.

THIS COLOR IS CRAZY! The shape is clean and sharp like a knife. Well done! a great further development for these wheels.

These wheels are 70D wheels with a single bearing inside. Durometer is a rating system for which hardness is determined. The higher the number, the harder the “thane” 70D is harder, a bit more responsive and designed for sliding more efficiently on rough terrain. 60D is the softer of the two, but, I wouldn’t call them soft by any means. They a are slightly more grippy and although they will perform well on rough surfaces too, these were designed with smooth surfaces in mind.

All Joycult wheels are packed in this a little Joycult bag. Looks dope and a little bit like a treasure.

Matt wrote me in the middle of the night a message on Instagram. He just send me a coupon code for his webshop and I could pick whatever I want. I just felt like a kid in a candy store. This was just mindblowing. The stock was on and it was really hard to decide between all these awesome wheels. The only thing he said at all was “You are WAY overdue Martin ❤️”. Man, juste freakin awesome. So I picked what I want.

At the end this letter took ages. After receiving the tracking number in august and watching the letter in the tracking flying to Germany, the german customs needed more than a month to check this package. Thanks for nothing german customs! It finally arrived at my placed something about two weeks ago. Finally!

Joycult wheels are handmade in Brantford Ontario Canada by Matt Watkinson. From face to bearing, duro to duro, Joycult wheels are designed to handle all terrains. The brand is here to contribute to the community by offering something unique and new to fingerboarders everywhere. The wheels themselves have a feel unlike any other. And with the added selection of durometer and premium colours, Joycult wheels are truly made for fingerboarders, by fingerboarders. Same world class formula, still made 100% by hand in Canada with Premium Domestic Ingredients. The XL wheels are slightly bigger than the other ones.

The color is white. An all time classic color for fingerboard wheels. The shape is clean and sharp like a knife. Well done! a great further development for these wheels.
